Miguel Regedor

Cá Vou Eu is a project aimed to help Portuguese talent particularly recent graduates willing to work abroad! Specially target for Germany as a destination.

Miguel started practicing Taekwondo during university and he loved it. After a few years, he started teaching taekwondo to kids in some gyms at Braga. In 2011, ATBraga was created to help the taekwondo clubs of the north of Portugal. Miguel was also Co-Founder and Communication Directo of AJTG - Associação Juvenil de Taekwondo de Gualtar. The best and most recognised portuguese taekwondo athletes are part of those two associations.

The Communication Department is responsible for maintaining the organization image, providing strategic communications counsel, public relations, advertising, media relations, marketing, corporate print production, web content development and management. He's also the founder and radio presenter of Cesium Podcast, a monthly radio show for University of Minho students.

Miguel did his first professional project at the age of 15, it was a simple flash web site for a local business. After that he developed a reasonable number of websites (around 50), all around the world using diferente technologies: HTML, CSS, Ruby on Rails, Flash, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, NodeJS. Always trying to keep up with the last standards and best practices.

The project aims to collect, organize and provide filmic, radio, and documentary online information about migration in Portugal and abroad.

Development of interface usability tools to help implementing card sorting techniques. This project was part of SAPO Summerbits scholarship (a Por tuguese version of Google Summer of Code).

Co-authored of the book "Getting Started with Ruby on Rails"

Designed and developed web applications using primarily Ruby on Rails, with focus on web standards, usability and slick interfaces. Built and maintained large website for a leading real estate agent. I took part in the development of several ruby gems for handling things such as payment gateway integration, HTML form generation, user authentication, Git repository access control, CRUD/REST metaprogramming rails extensions and more.

Developed applications and tools for GAED ( Grupo de Investigação em Engenharia do Conhecimento e Apoio a Decisão ) using ruby, JavaScript and GoogleMaps API.
