NZ produces sugar and related products in 7 European countries and is the clear market leader in Scandinavia after acquiring Danisco Sugar in 2009 (2/3 of its former size). Integration of the finance function and IT systems, very successful strengthening of cash flow and financing, intensive cost management and strong performance compared to main competitors.

Benteler produces mostly automotive parts (approx. 75% of revenues), focussing on innova- tion and strong growth. Responsible in the Benteler Group for Accounting, Tax and Corporate Finance. Relocation of Headquarter from Paderborn, Germany, to Salzburg, Austria. Securing financing of the Group during the Financial crisis 2008/2009.

Benteler produces mostly automotive parts (approx. 75% of revenues), focussing on innovation and growth. Strong profitable growth, doubling revenues from 2 Bio. € to 4 Bio. € in six years mostly by organic growth, but also some acquisitions (Netherlands, Brazil, Argentina, South Africa) and establishment of JVs in China. Building a global finance team to support the business.

Hella produces electronic parts and lighting for cars, being the Global leader in innovation in these markets. Development of the finance function in the Lighting Division, supporting the business with strong management tools.

Varta AG, at that time producing a full range of batteries (Automotive, Industrial, Consumer and Micro batteries). Member of Group Controlling team and projects on behalf of the CEO, both on M&A and operational improvements.

Fellow-Program with McKinsey & Company, including doing a PhD at the University of Cologne. Wide variety of projects, both strategic and operational.
