I was appointed by the owners of the company to work on the intake of the CIPA (Internal Commission for the Prevention of Accidents) of 2018. Through meetings with the Labor Safety sector we created action plans to reduce accidents at work.

With the low utilization of wood in this sector, 71% of utilization in the last month, there was a reduction of the staff and due to my knowledge in the sector I was asked to make a project to increase the use. Through the tools of Lean Manufacturing, the A3 group and teamwork, we have achieved an exceptional result of 77% of timber utilization. We have personally gained recognition even from the business owner.

We received training from the Kaizen House company and contributed to making their tools used in all sectors of the two factories.

Responsibilities covering two Wood Moulding Factories with more than 500 employees each: - Map the productive processes, identify sequential and detailed strategies of machine layout, operations, emission modes and exit process; - Analyze the production processes, effecting the effectiveness of the equipment through the OEE; - Perform the monitoring of the production process, identifying as "dead time" interruptions and machine speed.

Six groups were created from six different sectors so that through this system of this project we could achieve a common goal that was achieved. Increase the utilization of the raw material.

I contributed with the training so that the application of this tool was efficient and it maintained a standard of cleaning and organization in the Factories.

We introduced this process improvement tool to employees and I created some Kaizens (machine improvements from all sectors of both plants and digital registration) to encourage employees themselves to make improvements independently.

I received training from the company JDC Consultoria and after applied test I was approved with the highest grade to be auditor of the company for certification of this same standard. Then we apply the standard in the company that received approval and was certified.

Aiming at the best use of raw material from the Frame and Paint sectors, we have prepared a material, under the guidance of our supervisor, with knowledge about the importance of the product to increase employee engagement. We also prepare practical examples of recovery to increase one's ability. We reduced the product from 3% to 1.5%.

Through the knowledge of the best fitters along with our Process Engineering team, we have created the standardization of the best way to adjust the machines for each type of different problem. We record this digitally and physically as well to be accessible near the machines of the adjusters.

Over 7 months, we created a spreadsheet with the production capacity of each product in each machine of the Factory defining the Factory Productive Standard.

Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is the main indicator used to measure overall efficiency. I contributed to this knowledge to reach all through training and worksheets.

I created the Power Point training, under the guidance of the Coordinator, and participated in the presentation of training for the reduction of work accidents. We created a plan of action in which we raised all the risks and resolved 58% of the cases.

I set up Power Point training under the guidance of the Coordinator and trained all factory supervisors with leadership concepts, examples of different types of leadership, and tools to motivate leadership.

Under the guidance of the Coordinator, I have created a list of the pending repair priorities for each machine in the entire factory.

Together with a team of supervisors and coordinators, we actively participate in the training and orientation of the new employees of a new Plant.

I was trained at the Factory in the city of Quedas do Iguaçu - Paraná (Brazil) to run a Crosscut Production line leading 12 employees in each of the 3 shifts with a monthly production of about 4000 m³ of wood. I did the programming of the machine in order to work with maximum optimization of the wood using the software of the Italian company Microtec and the machine of the Denmark Company System TM. The Total Yield was approximately 73%. The Yield of wood in the sector was increased to 77%.

Führungskompetenz/Personalmanagement, die Festlegung einer Strategie, Grundkenntnisse finanzieller Aspekte, Leistungsoptimierung in der Produktion, neueste Werkstofftechnologien oder das Thema Energieeffizienz: Das Spektrum der Holztechnik und somit auch die Anforderungen an Ingenieure entwickeln sich stetig weiter. Für Führungspositionen im internationalen Umfeld der Holzwirtschaft ist vertieftes Spezialwissen gefragt. Genau dieses vermittelt der internationale Masterstudiengang Holztechnik.
