Under his leadership, the carpooling.com team has helped millions of drivers to cut emissions and to reduce the number of cars on our streets.

At Onpeak Markus bridged this gap, essential to the OEM pricing strategy, by implementing a panel named DRP (Dealer Research Panel) that generated actual sales data from thousands of dealers across various car brands.

In his CorpDev role Markus was responsible for strategic alliances with the Australian Government, TelCos and the Tourism Board amongst others.

In this position Markus aligned the communication requirements of Top 100 global blue-chip advertisers with the fast-growing global Yahoo! audiences and by that signed one of the first multi-million-dollar online advertising deals in the industry.
