Successfully executing Business Development and Sales activities for the e-Customs and Trade vertical, which offers integrated IT solutions to the public and private sector. My activities span internationally with a focus in Europe, Eastern Europe, Balkans, and recently in Asia and Africa.

Working with the sales teams and consistently managing and preparing complex technical and financial proposals. Negotiations and collaboration with other companies in cases of consortia and subcontracting.

I joined the company in its start-up phase during which its initial intellectual property was evolved into commercial products and services. I held the responsibility for the development of the pilot product and I participated in business development, planning and marketing activities.

Core tutor of the M.Sc. in IT Course. Tutor for the Information and Multimedia Retrieval strand of the M.Sc. Advanced Information Systems. Research Assistant for the Information Retrieval research group.

Worked as an analyst-developer for an internal project of Systek IT (Hong Kong based company) and was responsible for the analysis and development of a question answering system, used by call centres and help desks. The final product was a web based Q&A search engine using Java.

During my undergraduate studies, I worked as a Systems and Network Administrator at the Computer Centre of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.

Worked as a requirements analyst for a project undertaken by the National Technical University of Athens. The main goal was the compilation of the Greek Parliament’s IT requirements, that were included in the procurement documentation of a public tender
