Serves as a Project Coordinator of an international research project “Planning in Germany and Iran: Responding to Challenges of Climate Change through Intercultural Dialogue” between the Department of Landscape Ecology and Landscape Planning and the Daneshpajoohan Pishro Higher Education Institute (DHEI), Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism in Esfahan, Iran.

Coordinating the EU-research project “Productive Green Infrastructure for post-industrial urban regeneration” (proGIreg) in the City of Dortmund. In proGIreg, four front-runner cities (Dortmund, Turin, Zagreb and Ninbgo) are implementing Living Labs with local citizens, research institutes and NGOs in urban areas which are undergoing postindustrial transformation. The proGIreg Living Labs develop eight Nature Based Solutions (NBS) which are co-deigned by the residents of the living labs. .

Did market research to help Workforce Housing, Inc. segment target markets and market roll out plans. Helped with product market fit recommendation and market sizing for this dynamic startup. Researched tax credits and incentives for neighborhood revitalization that fit with the company’s product roadmap. Helped in preparing customized report for employers of their work locations and made recommendations on solving housing issues.

Served as a lecturer while working on an international joint project, funded project by (DAAD), focusing on reclaiming public spaces in metropolitan regions. Acquired project, researched proposal preparation, and prepared budget. Organized and managed project meetings. Handled project reporting and performance collection data for extension from DAAD. Organized international and national conferences:

Researched public spaces in Amman/Jordan that are produced and co-produced through interactions between different modes at the global level and ongoing relations of social practices at the local. Investigated various public space typologies. Simultaneously, I served as teaching assistant instructing graduate and undergraduate courses.
