Research assistant for a study examining the impact of different educational contexts on a range of social and political outcomes. I conducted qualitative primary and secondary research on the German educational system.

Research assistant for a study about ideology, political violence, and conflicts for which I conducted primary and secondary research on non-state actors in Latin America.

I have done the Master of Philosophy in International Relations at University of Oxford with Kalypso Nicolaïdis as my supervisor. My research interests include nonviolent civil resistance as well as political violence. I have written my thesis about civil disobedience and Extinction Rebellion.

I have done a liberal arts and sciences bachelor at Amsterdam University College, double majoring in international relations and media and graduating with cum laude in 2018. My bachelor thesis was awarded for distinction and critically analyses the portrayal of suicide terrorism in media.
