I am currently Deputy General Manager for the engine assembly test paint operations at Tata Cummins Pvt. Limited, and I provided strategic leadership to a shop-floor team of 650+ employees working in three shifts and encouraged them to achieve designated goals. I achieved business performance, including BU KPIs of HSE, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost through operational improvements by developing and managing productivity and quality metrics (KPIs).

I was the Deputy General Manager at Cummins India Limited at the Kothrud Engine Plant, Pune. I led Fuel Systems business unit which consisted of a team of 125 employees, including 26% women, while serving as BU lead for PT fuel systems. I drove improvements in delivery and quality performance for China export customer for injector and fuel pumps. I achieved all business goals through effective management of plant KPIs, including HSE, quality PPM, export OTD, cost, and employee engagement.

I joined Cummins India Limited in 2012 as a Senior Manager for the ReCon India Plant - operations, and I oversaw overall production and manufacturing engineering activities of engine component product, ensuring end-to-end smooth running of business operations. I developed and initiated new product salvage that improved business growth and opportunities. I established and implemented TBWS culture across plant to drive accountability of plant deliverables amongst shop floor employees.

I started my Career with Larsen & Toubro switch-gear division as a product life cycle management specialist taking care of product variant design, analyzing customer complaints & support to new product design for control-gear products. My Key Result Areas were conducting the product validation of new & variant designs developed in switch-gear design department. Highlights: Filed a patent on Differential Mechanical Interlock for Contactors
