Supervision of 3 bargaining unit personnel Prepare & process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls Administer 4 separate employee benefit plans Liaise with benefit carriers to resolve issues &concerns Manage enrollment, termination, & retirement processes Assist other areas with providing information pertaining to the labor budget, & payroll general ledger, balancing & reconciliations. Coordinate monthly & quarterly pension remittances & assist with updates to the contribution planner

Assist with the new employee indoctrination program through the development of information packages and documentation, initial benefits enrollment and a review of benefit information. Administer four separate employee benefit plans. Reconcile all human resources and benefits invoices and ensure payments are made in a timely manner. Investigate and liaise with Finance to resolve any discrepancies with remittances of payments and payroll deductions. Conduct audits to ensure accurate coverage.

Construct monthly warehouse employee incentive program. Prepare & process bi-weekly payroll using Excel, Great Plains, and ADP. Assist with the preparation of performance appraisals for each department. Ensure company is compliant with legislations by meeting or exceeding Alberta Employment Standards, OH&S, and Alberta Human Rights. Generate reports on employee wages in industry/workforce and create a comparison analysis. Generate company budget for all fiscal year expenditures
