I revitalized the ”ChemRIXS” X-ray spectrometer from its hardware (vacuum technology, detector architecture, automated movement) to software aspects (data acquisition and plotting using python data science tools), simulated spectral data to facilitate interpretation, directed and instructed the small spectroscopy group (a scientist and an engineer).

I supervised PhD and MS students in their thesis studies, coordinated scientific projects at every stage (design, experiment, data handling, data simulation, publication).
