Led a Pre-Sales & Bidding Team of 10 in the full Telco Customer Engagement Lifecycle: Pre-Sales & Demand Generation, RFP Customer Influence, PoC, Contract Negotiation, Scoping, Risk Control & Closure. Responsible for both Customers Technical Solution and Financial Proposal. Responsible for the company’s Regional Marketing & Pre-Sales activities (Middle East with some selective African countries) – Expanded the Business Development into new targeted territories in South East Asia.

-Led and Coordinated work on Techno-Economic and Consulting Studies delivery on Wireless Broadband Networks (WiMAX, FWA) – Introduced NPV & ROI Risk Analysis methodology which was used in Product Portfolio Assessment at Corporate level. -Engaged with Telco & ISP Operators in the Balkans and Eastern Europe proposing Fixed Broadband Access solutions addressing customer needs and pain points from a Business and Technology perspective.

-Managed a team of 11 in the areas of electronic products manufacturing and equipment. -Led and managed new Product and Technology Development Activities in the area Optoelectronics Components manufacturing (New Silicon & Laser devices, Sensor Devices). -Led Consulting, Influencing and Thought Leadership activities with the Management of the Division to commercialise R&D achievements and results of the Centre via an eco-system of small technology start-up companies.

-Led and managed a team of 5 during the “Qualification” and “Transfer to Production” Phase of new Optical Networking components. -Co-coordinated 3 Engineering teams (Cross-Functional, 15 people) involved in the qualification of a new Optical Networking product. -Developed Optoelectronic components for Ethernet and Optical Networking applications. Successfully introduced new Optical Networking products in the production line that resulted in sales of c. $5 million.
