I'm developing RAPStore, the app-store for the internet of things, based on the open-source RIOT operating system. I am a developer and maintainer of RIOT OS. I focus on scripting languages in microcontrollers (lua), maintenance of the build system, standard library support and tooling in general.

I'm doing research into robot path planning methods.

As the first Head of Engineering of the company, I reported directly to the CEO. I was tasked with an "upscaling" project: moving all our data-processing to the Cloud and making our vehicles usable by third parties. This involved coordinating multiple sub-projects, both hardware and software, and selecting the right technologies. Managed internships and hiring in general.

I developed programs and algorithms for the analysis of aerial imagery and models for extracting valuable data for agriculture. Developed the algorithms behind our two flagship services. I write the core data-handling code in use all throughout our data processing pipeline and set up the supporting IT infrastructure. As the second employee, my tasks were diverse and also included R&D on UAVs and imaging devices.

Teaching assistant at the Neural Networks course since 2015. I am in charge of practical assignments. The subjects cover neural networks as well as other machine learning algorithms. Teaching Assistant at the Signals and System course (discrete-time and digital signal processing), as a student in 2014 and as a graduate in 2016. Rewrote and updated several practical assignments. Gave some lectures.

Developed software and firmware for medical devices (a 12+ channel ECG). Rewrote from scratch several components: a more robust interface between PC software and hardware devices, a new signal processing stack, a faster graphical display. I had to heavily modify the software to make it multi-threaded.

Software design and documentation for medical electrical equipment.

Hardware design: I selected the components, drew schematics and laid out PCBs. Embedded software programming on bare-metal systems. I designed and implemented library of components for EDA software. It allowed designs to be shared among different projects. The library was linked to the company's inventory system. Analyzed IEC standards for medical-electrical devices and drafted product specifications to comply.
