I am the Head of Policy and Analysis at the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR), a pan-African think-tank that offers policy advice on post-conflict peace-building across Africa. In my present capacity I am also Core Partner Director (Southern Africa) for the continental African survey project, the Afrobarometer, which hones in on such issues, but have in the past also served in managerial and/or advisory capacities to other national and continental surveys and research projects.

Management of the political analysis unit of an African continental non-governmental organization, which is active in post-conflict countries. Analysis involves research into both the political and socio-economic factors that impacts on stability in these states.

I opened the Cape Town bureau of the KAS and its South African partner, the Democracy Development Program, in 2002. Responsible for all the Foundation's liaison with the South African Parliament and project partners in Cape Town

The coordination of public opinion and elite surveys in South Africa and the rest of the African continent. Part-time lecturing in the University of Stellenbosch' Department of Political Science
