James Palik

James Palik (Jim) is a photographer, writer, teacher and website developer. Photography: Jim’s specialities are event photography, architectural photography, and photographic art. Writing: In 1999, Hewlett Packard offered Jim the opportunity to move to Germany to manage technical documentation for the Network Support Laboratory. During his tenure with Hewlett-Packard Jim was a member of HP’s writer’s council and was responsible for HP’s “Word” style sheets. Teaching: Between 2006 and 2016 Jim taught digital photography at the Hochschule der Medien (Stuttgart Media University) in Stuttgart, Germany. Jim was the official photographer for the Deutsch-Amerikanisches Zentrum (DAZ) in Stuttgart from 2008 to 2022. Jim Currently works contractually doing architectural photography, event photography and travel photography. www.jpalik.com
