Title: Analyzing a Bus Priority Scheme for Coimbatore with a Microscopic Traffic flow simulation. A Microscopic Traffic Flow Model is developed and simulated in VISSIM to determine the present condition of public transport system. Then, two scenarios of bus signal priority are analyzed in VISSIM to determine the improvements on current state of public transport system.
