I have been performing in various countries on gala shows, variety shows, bike cometitions like Tour de France, and often in TV shows around the world.

To change the perception of the bicycle in China I started a bike group in 2007. As these cool looking bikes were not available in China I decided to quit my job and open China's first fixed gear bike shop to inspire people to ride bikes . Within a few years with a strong focus on marketing & social mediaI I made bicycling cool and bikes are a part of modern city lifestyle. There is a strong increase in bicycles in the congested and highly polluted cities like Beijing as an alternative form of transport.

Business Development Lead for Asia-Pacific Region with a focus on the manufacturers customer segment which originally was not specifically addressed. Pushing the sales bookings in the Manufacturers segment to exceed the market growth percentages. This manufacturers program worked well with unexpected sales numbers exceeding 25MUS$ in the first year. Started up a Manufacturers team and managed direct reports.

Technical pre-sales marketing with customer visits in all countries of Asia plus Australia & New Zealand. Helping the local sales people to convince the customers technically and win tenders. Upon own request to be closer to the customers re-located to Beijing in Feb 2005. Despite the worries of the German division this relocation resulted in increased booking levels in all of Asia with significant growth especially in China.

Worked in the international HERMES collaboration at the particle accelerator ring DESY (length: 7km below the city of Hamburg). HERMES was one of the 4 big particle physics experiments using the very fast particles accelerated by DESY. Did research on the spin structure of the quarks inside the proton and neutron. My field of work was atomic physics and optimizing the magnets controlling the target particles at very low temperature before the injection into the target cell of the HERMES experiment.
