At e-con Systems, we help customers integrate camera in their products. I head the Product management teams, sales team and marketing teams at e-con Systems. My every job inovolves meeting these teams to understand the issues faced by customers in the integration of our camera in their product.

I was stationed in Hyderabad and the mission was to port Linux kernel on a brad new Microprocessor that never had a previous Linux port. I can say this was one of the most challenging assignments I have done. We worked very closely with the team that designed the new processor to undertand the architecture and then did a basic port to the processor. When the shell prompt finally came, it was a big moment for me.

GDA was a startup design services company and I was among the first 10 employees of GDA. This means other than my work, I learnt to fix everything in office right from the computers, routers, UPS etc. I learnt how a startup worked and I didnt realize all this till we co-founded e-con Systems and that was when I started connecting backwards. I was an expert in Linux kernel porting, Linux device driver development and worked on a wide variety of processors.

I was a contractor for Toshiba on behalf of GDA Technologies. My job profile was to develop the Windows driver for the world's largest display monitor developed by Toshiba. This was GDA's first customer and first project in Japan and I along with my colleague completed this assignment. After my assignment, GDA got a lot of business from Toshiba until it was acquired by L&T. Displays and cameras arent that different and if you can write Video drivers very well, you can write camera drivers easily.
