Responsible for developing and delivering the mobility strategy for Europcar operations in Australia and supporting the business as a member of the executive leadership team. The business unit encompasses 117 rental stations, 390 staff, contracted resources and revenue >$190M.  Contributes as a Member of the Global Operations Management Board. Oversees Corporate Social Responsibility and Internal Controls compliance Network growth, Franchise and Contractor Management Property & Licence Management.

Reporting to the Commercial Director and working closely with the Managing Director to grow the Europcar network and sales. Responsible for growing Franchise and Contractor (Agents) business and ensuring brand compliance. Chairman of Tender Steering Committee, Marketing Committee and Secretary of Franchise Council Ensures brand compliance, completes fit-out projects for new and existing outlets. Oversees sales processes, contract management and tender responses.

Appointed by the NRMA board to lead the NZ business of 140 staff operating 33 locations with annual revenues exceeding $26M.  Improved the financial position of the company through the development of a 3-year recovery plan and supporting initiatives  Renegotiated fleet plans with suppliers & financiers to reduce direct fleet costs  Managed relationships with commercial bank and financiers

The regional operations manager has full accountability for the profitability and management of Thrifty Car Rental branches in VIC/SA. The position involves the relationship management of 7 franchisees in addition to leading and developing 82 staff across 6 corporate locations.

The purpose of this role is to develop and deliver training to the Thrifty network that will assist in the achievement of business objectives. Providing Human Resources advice and support. Critical to this role is face to face training delivery to countrywide staff as well as the delivery of remote training services.
