I lead the Digital Transformation Solutions service offering within the METRO Business Solution Center (BSC), based out of our METRO headquarters in Düsseldorf and our offices in Pune & Bangalore in India. In the BSC we support METRO´s 30 countries on their transformation journeys, by offering in-house consulting services in the areas of Digital Transformation Solutions, Program & Project Management, Change Management, Design & Media Solutions and New Ways of Working. In my role, I get to combine my profound interest in innovative technologies with my passion for developing & enabling high performing teams. In the overall BSC organization, including my team of 50 consultants, we drive a culture for belongingness, nurturing talent and innovation. In my role as Head of Digital Transformation Solutions, I lead a team of 50 consultants in the areas of Continuous Improvement (Business Process Re-Engineering, Business Assessments & Process Consulting), Process Automation (RPA, Chatbots & Workflow Automation), Process Digitalization (Web & Databases), Business Intelligence and Data Science (Descriptive-, Predictive- & Prescriptive-Analytics).
In my role as Head of Automation & Process Digitalization, I was responsible for the design & roll-out for the Metro-wide automation strategy & governance, for leading a multifunctional team of technology consultants (Process Automation, Process Digitalization and Data & Analytics) and to drive the continuous business development & operating model design activities across the BSC organization.
Erlend is a manager within the Strategy, Analytics and M&A offering, with expertise in the area Intelligent Automation. He helps clients across the globe, implementing innovative solutions & large-scale transformation programs
Erlend helps his clients on their journey to become an Insight Driven Enterprise. By leveraging data driven insights for advanced analytics, generating business process insight by implementing Process Mining and automating business processes using RPA & AI-enabled automation, organizations can reap benefits across the board
