I have been working with many different fibers in the yarn production field such as meta-aramid, para-aramid, modacrylic, acrylic, tencel, viscose, bamboo, cotton, flax, hemp, polyamide 6.6, cashmere, wool, angora, polypropylene, cupro (cuprammonium rayon), modal, micro-modal, antistatic, steel fibers etc.As an industry,80% of the yarns produced are used in medical, protective clothing, automotive and construction sector.Throughout my working life, I had the opportunity to examine the characteristic features and fabric performances of these fibers.I have worked with short fiber and long fiber ring spinning, open end spinning, compact spinning systems, core yarn and siro yarn techniques. I have extensive experience in understanding the positive and negative effects of these production techniques on fabric and experience working with fabric analyzing and designing fiber blends with desired fabric properties.
