David Groves

I supervise three different teams and provide constant reporting on their activities in Colombia to senior stakeholders in the UK. I administer budgets and confidential data for the teams and maintain up-to-date asset registers for each group, which encompass over 400 staff between them. I manage one other staff member in the team. I have arranged itineraries for senior members of the Colombian government to visit different governmental departments in the UK and provide interpretation during the visits.

I have supported the Streetfootballworld network by providing voluntary ad hoc translation to various network members since joining the team and have assisted the Regional Secretary with administrative tasks also. A highlight participating in the successful FIFA Football for Hope Adidas Exchange Programme in March 2016, where I moderated focus groups and assisted with reporting in English and Spanish. I was then involved in the 2017 implementation phase for the FIFA Football for Hope curriculum.

As lead for Latin America I made important decisions relating to specific cases, whilst communicating with a range of senior stakeholders across a global network and providing complex monthly reports. • I cultivated new, successful partnerships in each of the countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. • I lowered average processing time for regional cases and improved accuracy in reporting for senior management through a successful migration of statistics and casework platform to an automated system.

• I managed a nationwide smoking incidence study and was involved in all project stages, including overseeing budgets and data compliance. • I wrote reports on receipt of data and write analysis under tight timescales, whilst communicating frequently with a range of internal and external clients

• I managed large-scale customer satisfaction projects for large financial sector sector clients such and managed several smaller qualitative projects for both private sector and public sector clients. • I coordinated and conducted focus groups, specialist interviews, and various client research showcase events. • I implemented a process whereby we migrated a weekly process to be automated which saved our team a huge amount of time and meant that human error was eliminated.
