Working in German and English on projects for banking and financial institutions in Switzerland. After 6 months in the core product development team, I moved to the Projects where I take part or manage projects in which we build extensions and personalize the product for the customer.

Developing a technologically rich Java Web Application for an important Italian customer. A high dynamic environment like this one requires always to be ready for new requirements and new functions to be developed, as well as others to be maintained.

I created a Java web application with Struts, Hibernate and JMaki (for ajax) for an Italian railway customer. Connected to a MySql DB and its stored procedures, it managed client state with js functions. The data passed from and to the server was minimized to JSON objects.

I worked in a team of 7 people, we were a 2nd level support for the Websphere Portal Multiplatform product in the EMEA (Europe, Middle-East, Africa). I had to solve installation, security and Java API related problems that the customers have and that a 1st level support could not easily solve. We investigated the issue, sometimes recreating it, or collecting the right information from the customer, and gave a possible solution.

I worked in a team of five people, collaborating to develop web application for a banking domain using a Finantix Model Driven Architecture (MDA) implementation. The project for our team consisted in customizing the core product for one of the biggest banks in Italy and integrating its J2EE implementation with their back-end systems.
