I am a traditional 2D animator specialized in character animation

I was part of the team that translated and cross-checked the translations for the various Japanese audio commentary tracks. As part of the translation team I did research on all references which appeared in the feature.

- Editing and registering assets for production. - Testing of picture- and sound-quality as well as menus. - Video editing. A full-time position in which I gained experience in how our products are produced. In addition to quality control I edit subtitle assets which we receive from clients to fit our production workflow. I also recorded delivered material from digital tapes to our production network, and have done video editing (Captain Future Komplettbox, 2016, DE).

- Testing picture- and sound-quality as well as menus. As a part-time job during my studies I have done quality control for audio and video for DVD and Blu-Ray projects. Work included watching and testing the menu structure of the authored discs.

I was part of the team that translated and cross-checked the translations for the various Japanese audio commentary tracks. I also did regular proofreading and image clean-up, and I translated and texted several pages of the Japanese comic included as bonus material. I regularly communicated with our project leader, Robert Woodhead.

I joined the project because of my love for the series, and because I wanted to create the Japanese and German subtitles for people that want to learn Japanese. I transcribed all the Japanese dialog and lead the team that ensured the script was accurate and up to date so it could as the basis for the new translations. I also lead the German translation and proofreading team. I regularly communicated with our project leader, Robert Woodhead.
