- During this training with Pentalog I have followed up on the web technologies that I picked up during my time at XWiki and further developed both my passion and skill set towards the web - Technology wise, I have continued on the Java path, with more focus on Spring Framework, putting an emphasis on web services through spring boot and spring data - Within this experience, I have also got a training into agile and agile methodologies

- This has been a fairly different experience than in Bitdefender given the open source nature of the project, with a completely different engagement level both inside the company and outside towards the wider community - During these few months, my focus has shifted towards web technologies, covering both backend services through Java, as well as front-end pieces through HTML, CSS and Javascript - This experience helped me understand the importance of open source technologies

- Despite being a short trainee program, a first glimpse on how enterprises at this level function, how people communicate and coordinate and how to work in a team - Technology wise, I had the opportunity to learn about lower level systems and programming language and their purpose within the anti-virus fight that Bitdefender is leading - I have learned how to reverse engineer systems (ASM), worked with the native Windows API as well as some python for tooling.
