I oversee UI/UX design and code for all of LabCorp's customer-facing applications. On a day-to-day basis, I act as an individual contributor on projects as well as mentoring others across 3 separate development teams. Additionally, I contribute to LabCorp's overall direction as a member of the Enterprise Architecture team, focusing on front-end technologies such as Angular and TypeScript;

As a Full Stack Django Developer for Celerity, I work on all aspects of web applications, from the API and database layer to views and middleware to templating, styling and JavaScript in a TDD + Agile methodology. Celerity projects tend to be on the very complicated side and require a deep knowledge of Python, Django and the Django ecosystem.

As the Enterprise UX Architect at Inmar, I worked with teams across all aspects of the company to develop and implement standards in user experience, architecture, design and implementation. This included graphic design, information architecture, prototyping of applications and working as a virtual team member to help with implementations. Additionally, I played the role of Lead Developer with a focus on Django, Python and front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3/Less, Knockout.js, Sammy.js and more.

As Technical Architect, I provided leadership and solutions for our product team to build web applications using Python, Django. I primarily focus on customer facing applications, from the application layer to the user interface, using agile and non-strict TDD methodologies. I worked on all levels of the project, from front to back.

As a Presentation Layer Architect at Dell, my responsibilities ranged from pair-programming with other .NET developers to produce clean, semantic, accessible, W3C compliant presentation layer code to evangelizing best practices and helping make architectural decisions. I worked on two teams: Cart & Checkout and Product Configurator. These were both ASP.NET MVC projects using Razor syntax, of which I wrote all of the presentation layer by hand using HTML5, jQuery and Sass.

The Texas Tribune is a non-profit online news agency solely dedicated to Texas government and politics, built on an incredibly aggressive schedule of 4 weeks (no, that's not a typo) using Django, MySQL, jQuery and hand-coded HTML and CSS. Hosting was done on AWS with S3 providing static file storage. Scaling was handled automatically via RightScale. I was responsible for coding almost all of the front-end and middle tier and some of the back-end of "The Trib".

As a Senior Presentation Layer Developer at Razorfish, I provided front, and occasional back-end work for clients such as Microsoft, Dell, Southwest Airlines, Nokia and many other Fortune 50 companies.

I provided graphic design and creative direction across a wide range of deliverables including print, web applications and the public facing Penloyd website, 3D modelling and clothing. All of the web development was done using ASP.NET and SQL Server with hand-written CSS and JavaScript. I designed and built a web application to make the employment application process paperless and also built a systems for estimating product development costs. This company is now defunct.
