Engaging with a globally distributed community is a vital part of my daily work in a company build around a Open Source project. I'm working on the server component of Nextcloud using object oriented PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. My responsibilities include moving the concept of Cloud Federation to the next level, a technology which enables a complete new way to collaborate without losing control over sensitive data. Beside that I serve as a Free Software and licensing expert at Nextcloud.
