Finite element modeling of the fracture evolution and propagation in hard coatings on ductile substrates using ABAQUS platform in "Cohesive Zone modelling" and "eXtended Finite Element Modelling" domains.

Worked on a project titled, "Quantification of Process Emissions in Selective Laser Melting into Real Temperatures". My tasks involved, finite element modeling and construction of a calibration setup for the temperature calibration of thermal sensors in the SLM 125 & 280 systems. Trained at the application center of the company for two months in the complete assembly and functionality of the SLM system

Worked on the project commissioned for the feasibility study of selective LASER melting of Titanium and Aluminium alloys for automotive radiators. It involved the study of the manipulation of material properties such as tensile strength, the hardness of Titanium and Aluminium based on process parameters of the SLM process.
