Group Controller reporting into CFO/COO. REsponsible for overall finance department of O'Neill, in particular all aspects of Accounting & Reporting, Business Control and Credit Control.

Management and coordination of Transformation programme for Unilever Europe. Responsible for implementation of programme tracking methodologies, programme sequencing, risk assessment and change management. Lead partner responsibility for a number of key workstreams making up the Programme and for a number of Europe Operating Units impacted by the Programme. Responsible for approval process for provision of implementation funds (multi-million €) for these workstreams and operating units.

Responsible for business performance of FF Europe (€2bn+ turnover). Including: Strategic Planning, Annual planning, Monthly performance reviews including reforecasting with each business, driving the change agenda on European New Product Innovation, supporting strategic projects (portfolio disposals, supply chain restructuring, portfolio simplification). Last 15 months, member of core team that led to successful disposal of business to Private Equity (€1.7bn transaction value). Responsible for 1 person.

Responsible for the integration of Unilever's Ice Cream businesses in Poland, Hungary and Czech & Slovak Republics (€100m turnover) into the Ice Cream and Frozen Food Europe Business Group. Areas of particular focus included the creation, approval and tracking of significant CE Restructuring proposal as well as the creation of a significant value creating and interdependent Strategic Plan for the 3 businesses for 2002 - 2004.

Financial support to the OoH IC(£100m turnover) Business Team. Member of core team to redesign go to market aproach due to negative rulings from the Office of Fair Trading investigation into the Wrapped Impulse IC market in 1999. Decision support to Marketing on New Product Development and New Channels (Vending, Parlours) and to Sales on Account Deals. Management of trading terms for full customer base. Business performance reporting, forecasting and annual planning. Line responsibility 1 person.

Decision support for restructuring of Humberside operations. Operational performance reporting and annual business planning. Implementation of Activity Based Costing model and creation and maintenanance of Transfer prices. Line management responsibility for a team of 3.
