Alaa Alisawi

An ambitious, hardworking civil engineer with excellent communicational and interpersonal skills, aspiring to challenge roles in the area of linkage between geotechnical and structural engineering by developing models and methodologies for evaluating the effect of soil-structure interaction development on the structural behaviour of buildings. With an emphasis on dynamic, seismic, blast, multi-hazard analysis, post-earthquake fire, and enhancing the structural analysis methodologies for dynamic soil-structure interaction and multi-hazard analysis provisions. He found that the validation of research results or design procedures for structures that are complex or subjected to extreme loading conditions need to be validated accurately; therefore, he developed a novel, accurate scaling methodology that helps in validating the outcome.
