My job in the QSR department could best be explained as being the last line of defense.All new reservations are checked for possible feasibility restrictions. These mainly include aircraft performance checks, running flight plans, checking weather, checking airport restrictions, checking airports for Operating hours, sufficient fire cover, ATC, and fuel availability. Checking NOTAMS is also a very important aspect of my job.

As a senior agent in the operations department I was in charge of all aspects of the turnaround process for international flights. Also I coordinated Operations station control liaising with airport authorities as well as other airlines that we handled.
