Tasks
- Preparation of reporting packages:
Close coorperation with local finance teams or external tax advisors in the monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities; Preparation of reporting packages in accordance with US GAAP and company policies based on local GAAP trial balances on a monthly basis for selected entities - Accounting Close process:
Review monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages from local finance teams in order to maintain a high quality of financial reporting
- Ad-hoc projects:
Support of national and international projects in direct coordination with the International Director Accounting and/or local finance teams; Support in the implementation of new accounting policies
- Process Improvement & Accounting Harmonization:
Identify areas of improvement to support business objectives; Identify opportunities to stream line and standardize accounting processes

Internal controls:
Support in a strong SOX compliant structure and identify areas of controls improvement.

External Audit:
Being the contact for external auditors
Requirements
- Masters degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration; CPA is a plus
- Strong working knowledge in IFRS; US-GAAP and SOX knowledge is a plus;
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing) and intermediate German language skills
- +5 years of combined work experience in Audit and/or Group Accounting & Consolidation preferably in a BIG4 firm and/or large multi-national manufacturing company
- Hands-on mentality with the ability to work in a fast paced changing multi-national envi-ronment;
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills;
- Ability to partner with different levels in a matrix organization
