We’re looking for a motivated Performance Marketing Manager (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and support its Growth Marketing strategies.
In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on streamlining the marketing strategies and get the opportunity to contribute to various projects.
Join our portfolio company: A German customer service platform focused on connecting companies with support experts located around the globe. The startup collaborates with more than 30,000 service professionals, enabling them to offer remote support to companies through its innovative digital platform.
In this role, you’ll:
- Develop, and execute the marketing strategies on different acquisition channels for multiple portfolio companies with different business models for our portfolio company
- Monitor and optimise various SEA, Display, Retargeting, and Native campaigns, landing pages, and creatives in alignment with given KPIs (CPO, CPL, CPA, ROI, ROAS)
- Provide an ongoing account analysis in order to find growth opportunities in diverse areas such as keyword development, landing pages, ad texts, banner concepts, audience structures, and bidding strategies
- Be responsible for actively managing the assigned budgets to positively steer campaign and channel performance
- Develop innovative account structures and strategies to achieve business goals and drive success, as well as evaluate campaign performance by conducting analysis and creating reports that support both past and future data-driven actions and hypotheses
- Liaise and communicate with diverse stakeholders (internal and external) in a convincing and effective manner about campaign and market development
- Verify campaign settings and tracking and take the necessary actions to solve any issues that might occur. Cooperate with BI and Data teams to ensure accurate reporting and a good understanding of attribution models. Work together on advanced analysis and on brainstorming innovative automation solutions
- Evaluate Online marketing providers and recommend the best suitable options
Your Profile
- Successfully completed your studies in business administration, marketing, or have comparable training
- Several years of experience in the area of Performance Marketing, ideally in a startup environment
- A good understanding of Online Marketing and its different channels and platforms. How they support each other and the differences and contrasts expected in running campaigns and their results
- Familiarity with Google Shopping and feed management, with the specific targeting capabilities of Display platforms as well as with the fragmented ad networks and programmatic landscape
- Hands-on experience with at least some of these tools: Google Ads Editor, Facebook Business Manager, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads, Taboola, Outbrain, Adjust, Google Data Studio or third-party bidding tools
- Being an expert in using Excel and Google spreadsheets, be comfortable and confident working with numbers and enjoy analysing and interpreting data. Basic SQL knowledge is a plus
- Being aware of what tracking is and does and can implement basic tracking pixels. You also have a basic knowledge of event tracking in an app environment
- You have had contact with decision-makers within organisations before.
- An analytical thinker with a structured working style
- You are a highly motivated individual who has experience with dealing with several projects simultaneously
- You are passionate about performance marketing and wish to work with multiple fast-growing digital companies, learn with/from them and make your actions count
- Excellent communication skills/fluent in English, German is a big plus
Please note that we are looking for support in the Berlin or Munichoffice of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
